In two days Madeline will be 6 months old. She is a very busy girl! She has learned to sit-up and decided that being on her stomach isn’t all that bad. We also put her sitting in high chairs and shopping carts (with the shopping cart cover) because she’s sitting so well and she enjoys it. She’s also about to outgrow her infant carrier! We’ll find out what exactly she weighs at the doctor this Friday! Next week mommy and daddy are leaving Madeline to go to Cabo San Lucas. She’s going to have a blast staying with her mimi, it’s mommy that is going to have a nervous breakdown about it! Here are a few more pictures. More will be posted after her doctor’s appointment.
And this picture is my favorite. It’s from May and it should have been on lthe last blog entry, but for some reason it’s not there so here it is!!
Enjoy…we’ll update after our 6 month check up!
Well summer is here and we are sure enjoying it. We have been so busy and Madeline is sure growing! She has had several firsts in June. She had her first real food…boy did she like that!! She also learned to roll over. Now those of you that know her, she likes to relax so the rolling over happens occasionally. She also went swimming for the first time!! She loves the pool, she even kicks back and takes a power nap in the pool. Mommy goes to work out during the week (now that she has time) and Madeline stays with her Mimi, Nennie, and cousin Ryan. The grandma’s take the babies for a walk at the mall while the mommy’s go to the gym. Hopefully the mommy’s get in shape so we can keep up with the babies!! I am loving my stay at home mommy life! Here are some pictures from May and June.

Yesterday Nana and I took Madeline to get her 3 month old pictures taken!! Yes I said 3 months! I can’t believe it’s been 3 months! Here are the results of her pictures
Sorry I can’t update you more, but I’m really busy with work! Don’t worry come June 3rd I’ll officially be a stay at home mom! Yes you heard me right I’ll be staying at home with my sweet angel. I can’t wait! Who would have thunk it???
Madeline had her first Easter and boy did she have fun! She woke up and posed for pictures in her pj’s with her bedhead, saw her Mimi, and played on the floor before heading off to Nana and Pawpaw’s. Boy did we eat some good food at their house!! Here are pictures from her very first Easter.
On the way to church Saturday night

The cutest Easter bunny ever!!
She even had and Easter bunny cake…thanks Nana!
What a fun day!! Unfortunately it means that it’s time for mommy to go back to work! And oh what a tough morning it was for mommy! But we both made it through the day (Madeline much better than mommy) and we get to start it all over again tomorrow.
We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter! We hope to see you soon!!
Today Madeline is 2 months old! I just can’t believe it. We have been so busy that the time has really flown by. I can now say that I fully understand what people have been talking about when they say enjoy every minute because it goes by so fast. She is such a happy baby except when you take away her bottle to burp her! The last couple of weeks Madeline has been sleeping so wonderful I can’t even describe how good it feels to get a full nights sleep again! In fact last night Madeline went to bed at 10 p.m. and woke up at 8:30 a.m.!! It’s fantastic! We have had a blast and I can’t wait until her first Easter! Here are a few more pictures for you to enjoy.
Here we are at O’Paw and Greatmother’s house on 3/13/2008

I wonder how many times this is going to happen?
And here I am dressed just like my mommy! I’m all ready to be a PE teacher! She’s a mini Coach Mac or as my students say “Coach Mac Jr.”
Madeline had her first road trip this weekend and boy did we have fun! But before we left on Thursday we met Parrain Seth for lunch and after lunch he took Madeline on her very first shopping spree!! She really racked up!! Thanks Parrain.
The drive to Louisiana was a long one because the weather was terrible! There was even hail at one point. Pawpaw (I have been told I was spelling his name wrong so I’m correcting it) drove extra carefully while Madeline slept comfortably in the back seat.
She was the perfect traveler, she slept all the way and woke up only once to eat. When we arrived at Granny’s it was pretty late on Thursday night so we visited for a short while before we all went to bed.
Madeline slept until 5 am the next morning! Nana was up and ready to feed her so mommy went back to bed for a while (Thanks Nana). We had a busy day ahead of us so we all needed to be rested.
First stop we went to the beauty shop. Tootsie was so nice to cut my hair, my mom’s , and my Granny’s. After Tootsie finished our hair we ordered lunch and ate at the beauty shop. Madeline was so good she slept in her car seat while we ate and had a few laughs.
After lunch we headed back to Granny’s because the weather was cold and rainy and that’s no weather for an infant to be out in. The afternoon was spent visiting with family and friends lined up to meet Miss Madeline.
That night was Madeline’s first crawfish boil. Due to the weather we had to stay inside, but boy did we eat crawfish! At first she was a little fussy during dinner, but eventually she stayed happy in her swing while we ate. Saturday came and shortly after meeting Uncle Jue we had to say our goodbyes and start the long journey home with quite a few stops along the way. We ran a few errands and ate lunch at our favorite pizza place where my Nanny, Danielle, and Reese were able to join us.
Finally it was time to hit the road. We had only one more stop in Lake Charles to see Parrain, Aunt Savannah, and meet Miss Rene (Savannah’s mom). It was perfect timing because Madeline was ready to eat! (Well we all know she’s ready to eat a lot!!) After Madeline ate it was time to get back on the road because Daddy was at home waiting for us to return. Finally just after 9 p.m. Madeline and I arrive home to a very lonesome daddy. We had such a good time visiting everyone, but it felt really good to be home with daddy!
Here are a few pictures from the trip!Off to the beauty shop!!
